This bolt action rifle has a 5-10 rounds detachable box magazine. ORSIS T-5000 supplied with a single-point cut rifled stainless steel barrel. The internal geometry of the barrel is optimized for the use of standard factory ammunition. All barrels are manufactured with a tolerance on the rifling of 0.0025 mm. Exclusive formula of the barrel’s interior geometry (number of grooves, twist, barrel length and angle of bullet entrance) is not used by anyone else in the world. Intentionally for the production of ORSIS barrels the technology of the trellis hook manufacturing was changed (made of hard metal alloy), which allowed for the precise final characteristics of the bore. After the rifling process, the bore and barrel throat are polished on special finishing machine. These technical solutions allows ORSIS T-5000 to achieve highest possible accuracy.

The Recoil Buffer Assembly is a direct replacement of the stock buffer and no modification is required. Reduction of recoil is accomplished due to the patented Multiple springs & counterweights mechanism. The system produces advanced recoil reduction by gradually slowing down the bolt carrier before impact with the frame of the weapon. Included also two extra buffer springs, two counterweight springs and an extra heavier counterweight. The shooters can fine tune the riffle circle and the recoil and further to secure the correct bolt locking.

The 9mm S3 cases are 50% lighter than brass cases, offer greater lubricity and will not abrade, clog, foul, wear-out or damage breach and ejector mechanisms. The cases offer greater corrosion resistance, higher tensile strength (2x stronger) and more elasticity than brass. NAS3 cases have been tested successfully by customers to pressures over 70k psi. S3 cases eject cool to-the-touch and can be picked up with a magnet.

S3 cases will not split, chip, crack or grow (stretch) and are fully-reloadable using a set of S3 Reload dies.
